As hard as it may be to believe, it is already December, which means that before we know it, it will be 2019. And with a new year only a month away, it isn't too early to start thinking about your New Years crafting resolution.
What is yours? Is it to use what you already know?...How about learn a new technique?...Is it to leave your comfort zone?
In hopes of getting ready for the new year, all week long the Design Team over at White Rose Crafts is going to be sharing projects looking forward to the new year and their new goals.
I for one would like to get better at paper piecing this year. I have always been a little uncomfortable with paper layering, but have trying to get stronger at this technique. So next year will be my year of Paper Piecing.
One of the best ways I have found to practice this technique is to use White Rose Crafts Subscription Kits which are always designed with paper crafting in so many ways in mind.
I have the second installment of my 5 Fast Cards using this month's (which starts shipping today) December Festive Elegance Subscription Kit today to share how I am working on my paper layering skills. Each of these cards features a different layering project and you can see my push myself into an area of crafting I have always been uncomfortable with.
