This is Love with Guest Designer Laura

Good morning!

It's Guest Designer Laura back today to share with you another layout I created for White Rose Crafts LLC!

My beautiful niece is getting married next year and I am creating a wedding scrapbook for her and her soon to be hubby!

For this layout I chose the beautiful 'Always Together' paper pack from Craft O'clock and the September sketch.

I know the sketch was created for cards but I like a challenge and created a layout!

I layered the papers over a doily from a stash

Some of the flowers are from my stash but those really pretty lilies are from White Rose and I made the rosettes using the strips of paper I cut from the bottom of the sheets of paper

The white rose is also available at White Rose (coincidence???)

The chipboard from Creative Embellishments is also available at White Rose!  I wanted to keep it simple so I painted all the chipboard with a Faber Castell gelato then used a wet paintbrush.

I hope you enjoyed my September projects!
See you next month!

Love Muffin with Guest Designer Meghan

Hi Crafty Friends,
It is Meghan and I have had SO MUCH FUN Guest Designing for White Rose Crafts these past two months. This is my LAST post but hopefully they will have me again! I love this little stamp set because my dad calls me "Meghan Muffin" because I make muffins all the time!

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you like muffins? What are your favorite?
A: Me? YES! I love making mini muffins and my favorite is Pumpkin Protein!

I started my card using this cute paper pack from White Rose Crafts Doodle Bug Design called Puppy Love. I used it for my panel. And the red heart stripe across the lower part of my card.

I colored my muffins to match all the colors of my heart using Copic markers and cut them out using the White Rose Crafts Your Next Stamp Love Muffin Die.

I mounted the muffins on the card across the bottom taping three of them down flat and popping up the orange and teal one. I then die cut a stitched flag banner die for my sentiment.

I finished my card by stamping the LOVE muffin and Have a Sweet Day! sentiments.

You and Me and the Sea with Guest Designer Laura

Good morning!
It's Laura and I am back with my second project for my guest design spot with the wonderful White Rose Crafts!

I am also continuing to use the awesome Graphic 45 Sunkissed Collection (which is on sale BTW at White Rose)

I took this photo of my hubby and youngest while they were skipping stones one day at the beach....

I used a die I have for the banner and used some glitter to highlight it.  In the collection kit is a pack of stickers that I used on each side of the banner.  I like dimension so I used pop dots to add a little height.

I also used some shells I had bought at our local dollar store.

I made the rosettes from some of the scraps after I created the layout and then used the sticker buttons as toppers.

Thanks so much for stopping by

Sun Kissed with Guest Designer Laura

Good morning!
I want to introduce myself.  I am Laura Gilhuly and I am excited and thrilled to be guest designing for White Rose Crafts this month!

The first project I am going to share is made using the fabulous

I absolutely love the colors in this collection and seeing how the beach is my happy place it was perfect!

I fussy cut the flower image with the title, turtles, sand dollars and starfish from some of the papers.  I also lightly misted a doily I had in my stash orange to highlight the photo of our youngest!

I love dimension so for the turtles, starfish and sand dollars I used my large ball stylus to 'puff' parts of the animals!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Carved Out Time with Guest Designer Meghan

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Meghan and I'm back with my second post as a Guest Designer for White Rose Crafts for September. If you missed, my first post, it was a card for the September Sketch Challenge, check it out here and join in the fun for your chance to win $15 to the store.

For today's card I decided to have fun with the theme this month which is Falling int Fall. These darling little squirrels are getting into some mischief with pumpkins.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do squirrels get into your pumpkins around Halloween?
A: Me? NO! Surprisingly not, I think my little pup has something to do with that, she's got a loud bark.

I started my card by die cutting the kraft paper frame and the rectangle orange patterned paper square.

Next I die cut the birch tree branches and adhered them to my orange rectangle.

I created a little scene on the orange square then I put foam tape around the kraft paper so that it makes a shadow box like frame for my critters.

I finished my card by stamping the sentiment on the outside and framing the sentiment on the inside to match!

I hope you enjoyed my little Falling into Fall Themed scene. Please follow my on Instagram here and comment, subscribe, and follow for your chance to win my September Giveaway (see right side).

White Rose Crafts September Sketch Challenge:
You're Cool Beans

Hi Crafty Friends,
It is Meghan and I am so EXCITED to be on my 2nd month of Guest Designing for White Rose Crafts! I'm here with another FUN sketch challenge!

This month's theme is fall and what goes better with cooler weather than hot coffee? I used fall colors for this fun Thanks a Latte cup, I hope it warms your heart and brings a smile to your face.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite fall coffee flavor?
A: Me? I like warm vanilla stevia in my dark roast coffee

I used a fun fall paper pack from Pink and Main. White Rose Crafts has so many cute fall paper packs you can find them all here. I added a brown polka dot ribbon for the diagonal stripe. I die cut the circle from a stitched circle die. I finished my card stamping the steam from the cups, the coffee bean accents and the sentiment.

Coffee Mug Die
 Stitched Circle Dies
