Five Fast Cards Featuring the Marvelous Men Cardmaking Kit, Part III

Hey friends!  It's EK and I am coming in today with the third and final Five Fast Cards video featuring the Limited Edition stand alone "Marvelous Men Cardmaking Kit" from White Rose Crafts.

Card One

Card one features one of the boat decoupage sets, some of the plaid paper, two different pieces of Petallic cardstock, die cutting from the included die, one of the cardstock stickers, and several metallic accents.

Card Two

The second card today features some stamping from the included stamp, two different Petallics cardstock pieces, some printed paper and metallic accents.

Card Three

Card three uses two of the printed papers, some trimmed Petallics cardstock, and a bunch of the the cardstock stickers from the kit.

Card Four

Card four features stickers from both of the sticker sheets included in the kit, some Petallic cardstock, stamping from the included stamp set and some metallic accents.

Card Five

My final card today features lots of background stamping, including the included Scrapberry Ink, some washi tape, some plaid paper, and some cardstock stickers.

Kay Barnes

WRC owner Kay Barnes created this man's best friend themed card.  She used the Craft UK Precious Pups decoupage sheets, American Crafts Paw Prints ribbon, and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

Alison

Alison created this masculine themed gear card using Kaisercraft Grunge stencil, Scrapberry Edge of Town paper pack, and Nuvo Old Linen Expanding Mousse. 

Esther

Esther crafted this pair of gentlemen's card using the Kaisercraft Barber Shoppe paper pack and the Kaisercraft Barber Shoppe stamp set.

Annie

Annie made this classic car themed card using some ScrapBerry Mechanical Illusions paper pack and Ivory Mulberry paper.

EK

You Are Classic Card

Hello Crafty Friends - Annie here with a vintage Father's day/Masculine card.

Using the ScrapBerry Auto Vintage Stamp - This set has 4 images and 4 mini sentiments.

We all have a car lover in the family and masculine cards are not always that easy to make for some of us. However, ScrapBerry makes it so easy with their collections. From fun and quirky to classic and vintage. You can find a good assortment of ScrapBerry collections in the White Rose Crafts LLC Store.

Let's get started.

Since the image isn't very large I went with a lot of layers. I stamped and colored my image with a mix of Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. Then I fussy cut it out. I then trimmed all my cardstock and pattern papers.

I had a leftover piece of cardstock that I had pressed off some of the extra glitter pasted I used on another project and thought it was perfect for this one. I layered the dark blue cardstock, the medium blue cardstock and the cream stenciled glittered cardstock. I trimmed about 1/8" of the medium blue and about 1/4" of the cream. keeping all the layers towards the top.  

Next, I layered the map pattern paper and then I added a strip of tape adhesive to the pattern paper so I could attach a small piece of Mulberry Specialty paper. I find this the easiest way to attach Mulberry paper. I top the Mulberry paper with a small piece of striped pattern paper.

  

Now, using some foam tape I attached the Vintage car to the layers.

I stamp the trimmed the sentiment into a fishtail banner and layer it onto some Gold Specialty cardstock. Adhered it to bottom left of the card with some foam adhesive.

 

Now, for some finishing touches. I used some Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends by the image and the sentiment and some by the right bottom corner of the card front panel.

 I adhered my panel onto an A2 card base and the card is complete.

Marvelous Men Cardmaking Kit

We are so excited to announce something we think is really exciting!!!  

Today we are releasing a new stand alone Crafting Kit designed specifically with masculine cards in mind.  It is the one thing we hear crafters say over and over again...masculine cards are hard.  

So we have designed a kit to take out some of the challenge!
