Henry the Fox

Hey Rosies!  Design team member, Anna-Marie W. Batz here using a variety of paper crafting supplies available at White Rose Crafts LLC online shop to bring us this cute creation. 

Stamp sets used were from both Craft Consortium Henry Fox and Stampendous Laurel Burch Feline Blooms. They went so well with the Echo Park Fall is in the air 6 x 6 papers.  Of course Henry the Fox needed a little paper heart that was die cut from the Aspire Petallics Mountain Rose card stock after being stamped with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink and colored with the Nuvo Creative Pen Collection in Fragrant Oranges. The card was then accented with twine and daises to complete the cuteness!!!

From quilting to card-making.....this technique came alive again for me today. I used the stack and whack method from quilting to design a set of Valentine's note cards that could be gifted or really used anytime of year!!!! 

These were so incredibly fun to make and easy as all of the supplies from the Love Story Kit, Kit Add On Section and White Rose Crafts LLC were used!!!  Love, Love,Love the Kits from White Rose Crafts LLC as everything you need is right at your fingertips to make sensational creations.

For this project I picked 5 papers from the kit and cut them each to fit my card base.  I think an odd number of papers always works best. Then I stacked them on top of one another and made random cuts using my paper trimmer turning the paper after each cut to get different shapes.  I cut the whole stack at the same time to get the same shape in each piece of designed paper. Then a took the different shaped stacks and laid them out and I rotated their use on the card bases.  5 papers equals 5 cards that are the same but different! 

I used the two different heart dies and cut out out one of each using the paper scraps from kit and adhered them to each card.  Added some bling from the kit and Whola - a set of 5 note cards was made.

I am a stamper at heart but this was super fun and knowing me I will probably stamp the envelopes using the stamp set included in the kit!!!  Why not pick yourself up a kit and a few adds on today and create something beautiful?  Don't miss out on these Subscription Kits from White Rose Crafts LLC as they are exclusive to them!!! Featured Design Team Series: Lemoncraft Fussy Cut "Fresh Summer" by Anna-Marie Batz

Hi White Rose Crafts Friends!!!! 

Anna-Marie Batz here, representing the White Rose Crafts Design Team. Today I am sharing this thought provoking happy card creation featuring some of the different product lines available in the store that help make your stash come alive including: LemonCraft papers from the Fresh Summer Collection, pink glitter ribbon from American Craft Ribbon, Distress Oxide Ink pad in the color of Worn Lipstick and Woodware adhesive mounting foam tape were used in completing my creation to help give the design some dimension. All products mentioned are available at White Rose Crafts online shop for purchase.

First I cut a piece of barnwood paper in pink from my stash to fit the base of the entire A2 card.  I used the adorable pig stamp from my stash and stamped it using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the bottom right hand corner of the the cut piece of barnwood pink paper.  I adhered this to the A2 card. 

Next, I found the perfect piece of LemonCraft paper from the Fresh Summer Collection that contained the corner flower border.  I fussy cut the flower border from one the 12 x 12 stunning piece of papers in this collection and then adhered it to the card in the opposite corner from the stamped piglet. 

Finally, came the sentiment. The sentiment stamp, also from my stash, I felt was thought provoking with the piglet amongst the beautiful flowers.  I cut a 2 3/4 by 2 1/4 piece of white paper from my paper scrap stash and stamped the sentiment again using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I then used a dauber and the Distress Oxide ink in the color of Worn Lipstick and distressed the edges of the paper stamped with the sentiment. I used my pink marker and colored in the letters of the word kind of the stamped sentiment.  Pink glitter ribbon from American Crafts was then cut for both the top and bottom of the paper square with the stamped sentiment. The pink glitter ribbon was put on using glue dots.  I placed the foam mounting tape on the reverse side of the square and adhered it to the card in the top corner.
