Victoriana

Hey Friends! Trying something a little different today, using great paper to do all the work in a couple of cards! I pulled out the 13@rts Victoriana paper pack from White Rose Crafts.

CARD ONE

For my first card, I pulled out a piece of ASPIRE Petallics Autumn Hay cardstock. I trimmed it up to 4.25x5.5 inches. Then using some dies from my stash, I created a smaller square and an oval, from the inside of the trimmed cardstock, mainly because I didn't want to 'waste' paper. I also trimmed a strip of another piece.

I trimmed up two pieces of the Victoriana paper pack to fit just inside the petallics cardstock.

Using double sided adhesive, I layered the cardstock and the printed paper. I had to trim the cardstock oval down by hand to fit the paper the way I wanted, but loved how the haystack looked under the printed paper.

Using the Technique Tuesday You Did It stamp set to add a sentiment to the hand trimmed banner.

I finished the card with a few drops of Nuvo Crystal drops in Dark Walnut.

I love how this one came out, and how the Autumn Hay cardstock brings out the warm tones in both of the Victoriana papers.

CARD TWO

For card two I repeated similar steps, but used ASPIRE Petallics Wine Cup cardstock.

I pulled out two different papers from the Victoriana paper pack and trimmed three ephemera pieces from the paper pack.

I had planned to simply lay the banner trimmed paper over the dark red paper, but felt it got lost. So I pulled out a piece of Pearl card stock and trimmed it up and placed it under the banner.

I also ended up pulling up a third piece of printed paper from the pack, and laid it on top of the strip of paper.

I added the oval cardstock and the hand trimmed ephemeral to the card. The ephemera was added with three dimensional squares.

I added a sentiment from the Technique Tuesday You Did It stamp set and finished the card with some Nuvo Vintage Drops in Earl Grey.

I love how this one came out too, even though it is much more moody and dark.

Let me know which of the two is your favorite in the comments below. Until then, happy crafting.

Henry the Fox

Hey Rosies!  Design team member, Anna-Marie W. Batz here using a variety of paper crafting supplies available at White Rose Crafts LLC online shop to bring us this cute creation.

Stamp sets used were from both Craft Consortium Henry Fox and Stampendous Laurel Burch Feline Blooms. They went so well with the Echo Park Fall is in the air 6 x 6 papers.  Of course Henry the Fox needed a little paper heart that was die cut from the Aspire Petallics Mountain Rose card stock after being stamped with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink and colored with the Nuvo Creative Pen Collection in Fragrant Oranges. The card was then accented with twine and daises to complete the cuteness!!!

Why not check out the at wide variety of supplies that White Rose Crafts offers you to see what you can use in your Papercraft creations.   Happy Creating!!!

Thank You for Being So Amazing Card

Let's Get started!

I start by gathering the components for the card. I trimmed the green gingham pattern paper to 3", the rose pattern to 1-1/4", I also trimmed a piece of Aspire Petallics Autumn Hay cardstock to 1". I die cut flowers from watercolor paper 5x, (I cut some of the leaves off for extra layering) and a card front panel from white cardstock. I pulled a few embellishments as well- washi, rhinestone flowers, puffy hearts and more (note - I didn't use all the embellishments I pulled - Yes, I am an overpuller 😉)

I used the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink in Tattered Rose (from the Kit), Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Worn Lipstick, Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Bundled Sage & Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Peeled Paint. I added a bit of water to the ink I smudged on my craft mat. I then used a paintbrush and colored the flowers and stems. On 2 of the flowers, I took out the little pieces, but on one of the flowers, I left all the pieces in - that is where I used the Worn Lipstick & Peeled paint to create some contrast and dimension. I set them aside to dry.

Next, I start to assemble the card. I adhered the green pattern paper first, then the rose pattern paper. Then, I put a strip of gold washi onto the Aspire Autumn Hay Petallics cardstock.  Next, I placed the Aspire Autumn Hay Petallics cardstock on top of the seam of the two pattern papers.

Then, I gathered the dried flowers and adhere them to the front of the card. I place the two flowers that I removed the bits from down first. I then add a bit of foam adhesive to the flower with all the bit in and place it on top of the other flowers. arranging them to the left of the card. I tucked the extra leaves in under the flowers.

Next, I decide on the rhinestone flowers (from the kit) and some puffy hearts for embellishments. I added 3 of the rhinestone flowers on the watercolored flowers. I then added 2 tiny puffy gold hearts by the flowers.

Finally, I adhered the sentiment (from the kit) using a bit of foam. I add a tiny gold puffy heart onto the sentiment.

That's it the card is complete.
