Hey Rosies! It's EK from ekgorman designs and I am popping in to let you know it is an extra special week here at White Rose Crafts.
All week long the design team over at White Rose Crafts is going to be celebrating one of the very cool lines of products they carry in their store. If you are not at this point familiar with WRC, it is a Virginia based internet paper crafting store that brings in tons of European paper crafting supplies and send them to you for local shipping costs. WRC ships all over the world, and brings in a really fun collection of products you may have never seen before. This week we are celebrating Altair Art, a Polish paper crafting company creates soft and elegant paper. If you are not familiar with this brand, make sure you check out all the different gorgeous papers.
Today I created six different cards, pulling in some stamps from WRC to really help make the paper sing. The Flower Harmony paper pack includes four pieces of each print, front and back paper. In fact I recently did an unboxing that included this paper pack if you want to see all the is included. Where I show the Altair Art paper pack starts at about 5:30, so you can easily pop in and see the gorgeous paper.
Scroll Down to see how I used this paper to create some graceful cards for all occasions.
Card One
Card Two
My second card features actually just one piece of the printed paper trimmed down and adhere to an A2 card frame. I add a simple sentiment from the Dovecraft Lovelier stamp set.
Card Three
For card three, I trimmed a piece of the Altair Art printed paper to fit an A2 card frame and then stamped a bit of cake and a sentiment from the Woodware Tea for Two stamp set. I then colored the cake with my colored pencils and accented the whole card with Dusty Rose Nuvo Drops.
Card Four
Card Five
This card features two coordinating printed papers, plus a bit of scrap from another project. I trimmed down some of the card to fit an A2 frame and then fussy cut out the flowers and butterflies from the back side to create a project that fits this month's WRC sketch challenge. You too can join in on the challenge just by loading your project to the WRC album in the Facebook Gallery. I added the sentiment from the Dovecraft If Friends Were Flowers stamp and some Earl Gray Nuvo Drops.
Card Six
Thanks for peeking in today. Let me know in the comments below which of the six cards was your favorite. Until then, happy crafting.
