Creative Creations

Creative Creations
Volume II, Episode III

We want to start this week's Creative Creations off with this month's winner picked at random from the January Sketch Challenge.

Congratulations Meghan Kennihan, you have just won a $15 White Rose Crafts e-gift card!  Please email whiterosecraftsllcblog@gmail.com to claim your prize.

Now, did you notice that all week the Design Team was playing with water activated inks?  that's right...the WRC team has been creating some of the most gorgeous projects using Stamping inks that change and adjust based on water application.  It is easy to do, since WRC carries three different types of water activated inks in addition to the vast array of stamping inks.  WRC carries both Distress Oxides and Distress Inks, but also carries the lesser known, and brighter ScrapBerry Stains.

It is amazing all the different types of projects the Designs team was able to come up with using these water activated inks.  Just in case you missed things, here are some of the highlights!

Using the large background stamp, Ubud Dreams from Kaisercraft, Laura create this stunning CAS card using Distress Oxide in Peacock Feathers.

In a fun twist of irony, Esther also pulled out the Ubud Dreams stamp and created this colorful and bold card using her Distress Inks and Distress Crayons.

Kim created these gorgeous layered cards using Distress Oxides.  Kim really is a genius with the Mixed Media Card.  Pop over to her page to see how she assembled these cards.

EK shared this week how all three of the different inks look when using two different classic water ink techniques to the differences between the three.

It appears this week that not only have we spotted some of your great works, but we have been spotted ourselves.

White Rose Crafts Owner Kay and Design Team Member EK were spotted Saturday at the WRC make and table at a crop in Virgina by several Rosies.

Donna I. shared the Make and Take from this event she whipped up over on the WRC Gallery Page.

We also spotted Alison creating this fun shaker card using distress oxides and Sparkle Blend Sequins.

Want to be spotted, then upload your creations to the White Rose Crafts Gallery and use the #whiterosecraftsusa on social media.
