Blue Skies - Stamperia Cosmos

 I'm sharing another Stamperia layout. Blue Skies - I will be moving on from Sky layouts after this, No promises though!! I've been having too much fun with the Stamperia - Cosmos Collection.

For the background, I used AALL & Create Stamp #398 and Distress inks. To create the frame I cut it out of the paper pad which is an 8x8.

Always Looking Up - Stamperia Cosmos

Happy Friday, welcome back! I'm still working with the Stamperia Cosmos Collection that I got from White Rose Crafts. I also incorporated an AALL & Create Stencil #115 to create a background, I have a quick video on Instagram; on how I created the background if you are interested in that.



I used the AALL & Create Stencil #115 and Distress inks.

I then used Circles and Chipboard to layer across the page on top of the inked background.

Light the Way

 Greetings! Alison Heikkila here. Today I have a card for White Rose Crafts that uses some fantastic products from AALL & Create and Gel Press. I created this background during a FB Live that I did on my Alison Heikkila Designs page earlier this week. If you'd like to check it out, you can click HERE.

I cut down my chosen background and roughed up the edges a bit, plus inked them with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink. Next, I heat embossed the gorgeous Celestial Navigation stamp from AALL & Create and Silver Embossing Powder. I added a bit of Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink with a blending brush to darken some of the areas a bit to help the design show up a bit more.

I am so crazy about the light bulbs in the Steampunk Alchemist stamp set (I don't think I'll ever get tired of them), so I really wanted to use one here. I stamped it on Bristol and added a few sprinkles of Brushos and then spritzed it with water, which created the effect you see on the finished piece. I also added a sentiment from Heidi Swapp's Only You stamp set, and I inked the edges of the card base with more Chipped Sapphire.

I love the different styles of stamps that are on this card, the swirling colors on the light bulb and the background, and the texture. I think it's funky and I hope you like it too! Astronomy - Stamperia Cosmos Collection

                      

Welcome Back It's Esther taking over the White Rose Crafts blog again! To say that I patiently waited to get my hands on the Cosmos - Stamperia Collection is an understatement. When I saw the color palette and beautiful graphics I knew I had to have it. White Rose Crafts to the Rescue. They have the paper pad, rice paper, and chipboard. It's a must-have paper collection for me.

Today I'm sharing an Astronomy Layout. I recently fell in love with the Sky, it was a clear Arizona night when I first realized the true beauty of the night sky. My hubby suggested we get a telescope (which we did) and I am now addicted to going out at night and taking pics of the moon.

It's not the perfect picture but I thought I needed to document it. So here is what I came up with.

I started this layout by making a background for where the pictures were going to sit. This is a 12 x 12 baby blue sheet of cardstock with Oxide Distress Inks.

I then layered a frame with Cosmos Chipboard and circles made with a circle hole punch. A strip of paper from the 8 x 8 Cosmos Paper Pad and Voila this portion of the project is done.

I then trimmed around all the embellishments to make a frame and matted it onto Black cardstock. I once again made a background with Oxide Distress Inks, Distress Inks, and the AALL & Create Stamp #398, and White Cardstock.

I finished by placing my matted embellishments on top of the White Cardstock Background sheet. Layered a few more of the chipboard embellishments, used some Nuvo Dots, and called it done. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, I love to help!
