Princess Bling Cards by Kim

Good morning friends, Kim here with my next DT project for White Rose Crafts.

I was inspired by this months sketch challenge to make my blingy cards, here is what the sketch looks like.

I am using Graphic 45 Princess Collection for my card, its one of my favorite paper lines and I love the pink shabby colours.   I tried to follow the sketch by using the little stamps that come in the paper line for the 4 squares on the top right, they worked out perfectly for that.

I used two different papers from the pack to give a layered effect, and because it is called Princess, I added a crown to the middle of the four squares, and then went all out and added bling to the card as well.

I added some Dovecraft glitter glue in crystal to the Princess images to give even more sparkle.
I also added a white satin flower to the card as well.

I also made a little 3 x 4 inch note card as well, and added some rhinestone chain bling to it as well.

A Princess needs her bling!

I hope you have enjoyed my project today, please stop by the White Rose Crafts Facebook group, and check out all the great items in the store!

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have found some inspiration here.

White Rose Crafts August Sketch Challenge with Guest Designer Meghan

White Rose Crafts August Sketch Challenge: You're The Caramel Apple of My Eye

Hi Crafty Friends,

It is Meghan Kennihan and I am SO EXCITED to be Guest Designing for the next two months with White Rose Crafts! That means you will get to see three White Rose Crafts cards from me each month! I'm going to start with the Monthly Sketch Challenge to give you plenty of inspiration to get your card created and enter in the challenge!
This month's optional theme is Back to School so I created this cute little apple themed card using Lawn Fawn's Caramel Apple Stamp.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you like caramel apples? Do you get the fancy ones with candy and nuts on top or regular?
A: Me? I'm not a big "sweets" person and I hate how the caramel gets stuck in your teeth! I'd rather just eat the apple

I started my card with a red cardstock base, and added a panel with the apple paper. I then used square stitched dies to created the little squares in the sketch above. I used craft paper for the stripe down the left side.

Next, I added the gingham red ribbon, adhered the caramel apples to each square and added the sentiment. I finished my card by giving the caramel on the apples that shiny look with Glossy Accents.

Supplies:
Stitched Square Die
Kraft Paper
Red Cardstock
Apple Pattern Paper

Did you Catch it all?

For the past couple of months we here at WRC have been lucky enough to have a couple of amazing Guest Designers creating some of the most amazing projects.

We wanted to make certain that you saw all their amazing work, so we thought we would take a quick moment and recap all the amazing work the Guest Designers have created.

Adam Karle

We just adored how Adam combined Distress Oxides and the Lawn Fawn You Are Sublime stamps.

We love how Adam used the bold colors of Distress Inks and paired it with the ultra friendly Humming By stamp from Your Next Stamps.

Nothing could be cuter than the Toadally Awesome Lawn Fawn stamp set created on the Lawn Fawn Polka In The Meadow paper.

We are inthralled with how Adam paired the Your Next Stamps Fishy Fun and the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid paper.

This Distress Oxide 'watercolored' card is 'toadally' perfect with the Lawn Fawn Toadally Awesome stamp set.

We think this card is just 'fin-tastic' with how it pairs the Lawn Fawn Manatee-rific stamp set and Distress Oxides.

We just love how Karen layered the BoBunny Early Bird paper with the Couture Creations Its A Beautiful Life die.

Karen handled the crafting of this encouragement card with such grace and elegance and we just love how the Darice Cross with Words pairs with the BoBunny Early Bird paper.

We are blown away with this duo of mixed media cards Karen created.  We just love how Karen showed us how to use paint and the Kaisercraft Timeless Botanical Butterfly stamp on our projects.

This layered card of Lace, Flowers and Butterflies are simply perfect with the ScrapBerry Butterflies paper pack and the Kaisercraft Timeless Botanical Butterfly.

We love this scrapbook layout Karen created using the Laser cut Circle Vine chipboard and the Craft O'Clock Always Together paper pack.

Afraid of using chipboard, then you should see how easy Karen makes it look with these cards featuring ScrapBerry Butterflies paper pack and Lasercut Bicycle Chair Heart and the Flourish chipboard.

We want to extend the biggest thanks to both of these amazing Crafters for creating for us for the past couple of months.

We are also looking forward to introducing you to two more talented Guest Designers these next two months.  So make sure to pop back in and check out the amazing work our new Guest Designers create.

Want to get in on the fun.... We are excited to announce that we are starting our hunt for our Fall Guest Designers.  Want to created with us during the months of October/November or December/January than apply today.
